Privacy Policy
CoinAbout is built around account security, wallet identity, paid access, and market tools. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Last updated: June 1, 2026
CoinAbout will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. If any page, message, or support request asks for it, treat that as unsafe.
Information we collect
We collect account information you provide, including username, email address, support messages, subscription selections, and profile preferences.
When you connect a wallet, we collect the public wallet address, chain, signature verification status, connection timestamps, and related account-linking metadata. We do not collect private keys or seed phrases.
If identity or duplicate-KYC checks are required for a paid workflow, we process the information needed to confirm eligibility, prevent abuse, and maintain account integrity.
How we use information
We use information to operate CoinAbout, maintain wallet and email account access, process subscriptions, reduce duplicate account risk, provide support, and improve product reliability.
Market, portfolio, alert, and tool usage data may be used to personalize product surfaces and detect operational issues. We avoid selling personal information as a product.
Wallets, blockchain, and payments
Wallet addresses and on-chain transactions can be public by design. Blockchain transactions may remain visible even if you later disconnect the wallet from CoinAbout.
Subscription payment processors and wallet providers may process information under their own policies. CoinAbout stores only the operational records needed to confirm access, troubleshoot payments, and comply with applicable requirements.
Security and retention
We use access controls, transport security, environment isolation, database security settings, and operational logging to protect account and payment-related workflows.
We retain account, wallet, subscription, and KYC-related records only as long as needed for product operation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, compliance, and legitimate business records.
Your choices
You can disconnect wallets, update account information, request support, and review subscription status from your account areas when available.
Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, legal compliance, or immutable blockchain history.
